Overview:
We have a unique opportunity for a RF engineer to work on a Neutral Host solution that is integrated with all three major Tier 1 operators (AT&T, TMO, VzW). The solution was designed and deployed, and we are looking for an engineer to work on site alongside the customer and Ericsson team to help find constructive ways to improve the solution from a design and optimization view.
Location: Austin, Texas (ON-SITE)
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overall solution and RF design including LTE & NR
• Well versed with iBwave to be able to deliver indoor designs with Ericsson products- including building 3D model, product placement, cabling, labeling, baseband dimensioning etc.
• Experience with Ericsson RAN products, design with Passive DAS and RDS systems
• Experience with design indoor venues of different sizes and types (business office, hospitals, warehouse, factory, stadiums etc)
• Understand Site Surveys and the Construction process
• Understand sectorization, SINR and Macro interference
• Familiarity with Ericsson and third-party products to generate BOMs for deployment
• Consultative with an ability to communicate clearly and manage the customer requirements
• Leads delivery for several customer accounts, regions, and markets
• Significant customer interaction to build scopes; and ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and results
• Leads remote engineering teams
Key Qualifications:
• 6-8 years of experience in RF, 3 years of experience with inbuilding deployments
• Expert with iBwave
• Demonstrated ability with BSEE/BSCS or applicable experience. MSEE/MSCS preferred
• Advanced technical knowledge in the network area of working (Radio, inbuilding products)
