Sample Tasks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Work with MNIT staff and MDH business partners to clear backlog of maintenance and support tickets for PowerBuilder applications, as tracked through Jira<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Troubleshoot legacy PowerBuilder application issues and work with tech lead to resolve <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desired results and perform debugging when necessary<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform upgrades\/enhancements to make applications more secure and efficient<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Identify and remediate application security issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform development tasks that support integration between the eLicensing vendor solution and legacy PowerBuilder applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with MDH business leads and MNIT developers to complete tasks as assigned<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate in team meetings, project planning meetings, and stand-up meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Communicate status, issues, and roadblocks<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide knowledge transfer to State staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Perform other related duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Minimum Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Three (3) years\u2019 experience from 2017 or later<\/strong> in PowerBuilder application development role(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Three (3) years\u2019 experience from 2017 or later<\/strong> writing PL\/SQL database procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Desired Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • PowerBuilder experience using PFC class libraries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience with Git source code management tool<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience as a programmer or relevant role<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience with SQL as relates to CRUD Operations and\/or View creation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience with Oracle Relational Database<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience picking up legacy technology and updating code or fixing errors in code<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Problem solving skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Effective written communication skills suitable for managerial\/business staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • An analytical mindset and critical thinking<\/li>\n\n\n\n
