This professional draws on solid knowledge of the company\u2019s cloud architecture and platform when designing and developing dynamic cloud solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Contractor (staff augmentation) Resource<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sourced through MiSAM Program (<em>Knowledge Services<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standard 1 year engagement and 1984 hours.&nbsp; (Purchase Orders based on the fiscal year 10\/1 &#8211; 9\/30)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possible extension beyond the 1-year standard agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday \u2013 Friday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Core Competencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Design and deliver secure cloud solutions on Azure, AWS, GCP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of Linux OS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chaos engineering experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of virtual networks and general network management functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid knowledge of concepts of designing and developing dynamic cloud solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid knowledge of concepts and moving parts involved in continuous integration and delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expert guidance to development teams regarding infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interpret and provide solutions on complex technologies\/architectures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cloud Formation \/ automation \/ Ansible \/ PowerShell \/ DSC \/ Comparable Linux scripting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience equivalent to site reliability engineering, DevOps, and\/or DevSecOps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Core Tasks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic and architectural support representing Design Serivces and the State of Michigan Cloud Strategy as a Subject Matter Expert.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and maintain relationships across organizational teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consult with vendor product specialists\/sales, independent research organizations, on-site support engineers and fellow architects and administrators on best-fit technologies to ensure compliance to department policies &amp; standards and technology roadmap.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture team for technology validation or suggestions for alternative solutions.
